Reinoehl Law Offices, LLC’s practice is focused on a variety of legal issues involved in the
production of oil, gas and other minerals throughout the Illinois basin. We represent producers, buyers, service companies, landowners and other interest holders in a variety of legal matters. We represent our clients in procurement and leasing issues, purchasing and conveyances of mineral rights, permitting and regulatory matters, environmental regulation and administration, oil and gas litigation, title examinations, title curative issues and other related cases. We also represent our clients in day to day business matters including business formation, record keeping, contracts, collections, business disputes and litigation, and more.
Rusty K. Reinoehl has been practicing oil, gas and mineral law since opening the firm in 2010. He was named as a Rising Star by Illinois Superlawers in the area of Energy and Natural Resources in 2015 and 2016, an honor awarded to no more than 2.5% of eligible attorneys each year. Additionally, he was named as an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers in 2016 in the area of Mineral and Natural Resource Law.
Rusty received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign in 2004 and his Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University in 2007. Upon graduation from law school, Rusty joined the firm of Boggs, Avellino, Lach & Boggs, LLC in St. Louis, Missouri, where he primarily practiced in the area of insurance defense. After gaining considerable trial and motion experience there, Rusty opened his solo-practice in June of 2010, initially as a general practice based in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved back to his hometown of Robinson, Illinois to continue his practice in 2011, and has been concentrating in oil and gas, corporate/business, personal injury and criminal matters since that time.
